Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Hours: 10pm-6am Mon to Thurs (5 nights)
Salary: £47,000 per annum
Location: Commutable from Flint, Deeside, Holywell, Chester, South Wirral

Our client, a UK leading manufacturer and part of a global multi‑national organisation, requires a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer. This permanent position works nighttime hours 10pm‑6am Sunday to Thursday night and pays £47,000 per annum. The company continues to grow, invest in new equipment, and is backed by a strong financial group.
Job Details
The position is based in the Flint area and is commutable from South Wirral, Deeside, Wrexham, Chester, and Holywell.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Apprentice trained in Mechanical Engineering, ideally HNC level.
* Strong manufacturing background in reactive maintenance & PPM work.
* Solid all‑round mechanical engineering experience covering bearings, shafts, rollers, pneumatics and other production machinery.
* Experience with Check Weighers, Flow Wrappers, metal detectors, conveyors & cutting machinery.
* Responsible for maintaining engineering stores & parts and for continual improvement of the PM system.
* Flexible, proactive, able to manage own workloads and work closely with the Electrical Engineer on site.
* Ideally holds a 18th Edition qualification; training may be provided.
