Job Description
3. Provide expert tax advice to a portfolio of private clients (HNWI/high profile clients)
4. Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of service are maintained
5. Stay updated with changes in tax legislation, communicating these to clients where necessary
6. Collaborate with other members of the tax team on complex tax matters
7. Prepare tax returns and other necessary documentation
8. Assist in the development of junior team members
9. Contribute to the growth of the tax department through business development activities
10. Ensure all work complies with internal procedures and professional standards
11. A split of 50% compliance & 50% advisory
The Successful Applicant
A successful Private Client Tax Assistant Manager should have:
12. A professional tax or accounting qualification (CTA or ACA)
13. Proven experience in a tax-focused role within professional services
14. A comprehensive understanding of UK tax legislation
15. Excellent communication and client management skills
16. A commitment to continuing professional development
17. The ability to work effectively in a team and independently
