Job Title: Product Support Engineer - Rail
Type: Full Time, Shift work (days & nights)
Location: Bristol, United Kingdom
Role Details: Mobile role, van provided. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on rail products, embrace digitalisation, and work as part of a team to ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform preventative, scheduled, and corrective maintenance according to schedules, manuals, and contracts.
2. Participate in continuous improvement activities for maintenance and procedures.
3. Conduct planned maintenance following operating instructions.
4. Attend customer meetings to obtain sign-off for work completed.
5. Perform fault finding and repairs using technical documentation.
6. Accurately document all work performed for company and customer records.
7. Engage in HSQE management processes proactively.
8. Maintain cleanliness of onsite facilities.
9. Attend relevant training to keep skills current.
10. Participate in 24/7 shift work and callouts as required.
11. Work as a mobile engineer with a provided van.
12. Assist with coverage in other depots as needed.
13. Report parts used during service activities accurately.
14. Utilize IT systems such as Go!Care, C4S, eWeb, Go!Manage, Diasys, Outlook effectively.
Candidate Profile:
* Prior engineering experience with relevant qualifications.
* Proactive, with good initiative and organizational skills.
