The Role
Linsco is working with a developer who is looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager based in the Doncaster area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with house builder experience to join a well-established and award-winning company.
Responsibilities
1. Maintain and deliver the build programme in accordance with budgets and forecasts, ensuring the final product is of the highest standard.
2. Work with site staff assisting the Site Manager.
3. Liaise with head office, NHBC, and local authority departments.
4. Order materials timely to ensure the build programme can be achieved.
5. Ensure all NHBC inspections are carried out as required.
6. Conduct handover inspections of properties to customers in accordance with customer care procedures.
7. Promptly address customer care defects in conjunction with the customer care team.
8. Promote a safety, progress, quality, and innovation-focused philosophy.
Requirements
* Knowledge and experience managing labour-only groundworkers/contractors.
* Excellent knowledge of construction build programmes.
* Strong commercial awareness.
* Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes.
* Experience successfully achieving customer service requirements.
* Awareness of codes of practice impacting construction, e.g., NHBC, Building Regulations.
Qualifications & Training
* SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
* CSCS Card.
* First Aid certification.
* Fire Marshall training.
* Scaffolding knowledge.
