Responsibilities
1. Operate various types of vehicles, including lorries, to manoeuvre them within the yard.
2. Prior preparation of all curtain-sided trailers to be loaded, including visual inspection of the trailer, sweeping the trailer-bed floor, ensuring all restraint systems are fit for purpose, are correctly positioned & secured.
3. Ensure trailers are correctly prepared to facilitate loading of the product to the trailer (straps positioned, curtains correctly positioned)
4. Conduct regular checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and report any mechanical issues.
