Responsibilities
* Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of chefs.
* Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.
* Support catering events by preparing food items as directed.
* Help with serving meals during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
Skills
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous, including catering or restaurant experience.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Basic cooking skills with an eagerness to learn more about culinary techniques.
