Job Description: This job is responsible for managing research activity for a team of research analysts and evaluating investment and credit risk. Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive studies of various markets and the organization's capital structure and establishing or analyzing existing credit ratings and market pricing for various products. Job expectations include leading a team of economists and working closely with global and regional Research colleagues. Responsibilities: Manages the process for gathering research to provide recommendations on the purchase, sale, or holding of securities to institutional clients Guides the team to collect information related to the prices, sales, government programs, and market trends and develops sales strategies accordingly Performs analysis of the organization's capital structure and manages the preparation of reports and presentations for institutional clients and industry groups to communicate future performance of the company's securities or capital markets Develops and markets the bank's economic products to institutional and individual clients, providing input on thematic trends and policy outlook Manages, develops, and maintains economic models, research products and notes, presenting results at internal and external bank conferences Managerial Responsibilities: This position may also have responsibilities for managing associates.
