Job Description
3. Process purchase invoices and match to purchase orders
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
5. Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs
6. Assist with bank reconciliations and cashbook maintenance
7. Post journals and maintain general ledger entries
8. Support month-end close and reporting activities
9. Manage employee expenses and corporate card reconciliations
10. Assist with VAT returns and compliance checks
11. Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers
12. Provide ad hoc support to the wider finance team
The Successful Applicant
13. Previous experience in an accounts assistant or transactional finance role
14. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
15. Good working knowledge of Excel and financial systems
16. Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar)
17. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
18. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
19. A proactive and flexible approach to work
20. Available immediately or on a short notice period
