CBM Partners Ltd is a UK leader in Condition Based Maintenance and Precision Lubrication Services. We help organisations maximise asset reliability through total lubrication site-services, vibration analysis, ultrasound, thermography, oil analysis, and advanced wireless monitoring systems.
We’re growing — and we’re looking for a Southern Team Leader to take a hands-on technical leadership role within our expanding services team.
What You’ll Do
As Southern Team Leader, you’ll:
• Lead, mentor, and support a small team of Condition Monitoring & Lubrication Engineers
• Deliver advanced site-lubrication, vibration, ultrasound, oil analysis and reliability services
• Assist with installing, and commissioning wired and wireless CM systems
• Troubleshoot machinery issues and support root cause analysis
• Work directly with clients to shape CBM strategies and monitoring programmes
• Support the Technical Director with R&D, system trials, and technology integration
• Produce clear technical reports and actionable recommendations
• Deliver other site reliability services including balancing, alignment, and troubleshooting
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone with:
• A mechanical/electrical engineering background — ideally industrial or rotating machinery experience
• Practical skills in one or more CM techniques (vibration, ultrasound, oil analysis, thermography)
• Understanding of precision lubrication and the “5 Rights” of lubrication
• Experience with sensors, data acquisition, or industrial networking(advantageous but not essential).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into decisions
• Clear communication skills with all levels of plant and reliability teams
• Leadership/mentoring experience (advantageous but not essential)
• A full UK driving licence
