Non-Clinical PKPD Scientist – Translational Sciences
12-Month Contract
Biotech/Pharma
Are you passionate about using quantitative science to bridge discovery and clinical development?
We’re looking for a Non-Clinical PKPD Scientist to join an innovative research-driven organization focused on translating preclinical insights into meaningful clinical outcomes. This role sits within an expanding Early Development and Translational Sciences group dedicated to applying pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PKPD) modeling, DMPK, and systems pharmacology approaches across all stages of drug development.
About the Role
As a key member of the Non-Clinical PKPD team, you’ll contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of preclinical PKPD and GLP toxicokinetic studies. You’ll collaborate across cross-functional teams — including bioanalysis, toxicology, and clinical pharmacology — to generate high-quality, regulatory-compliant data packages that support progression of new drug candidates.
This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic input in shaping non-clinical development programs for novel therapies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to non-clinical PKPD and GLP toxicokinetic study designs and protocols.
* Perform and interpret PKPD data analysis to guide project strategy.
* Collaborate with internal teams and CRO partners to ensure high-quality data generation and timely project delivery.
* Communicate study outcomes clearly through reports and presentations suitable for regulatory submission.
* Support quantitative integration across pharmacology and DMPK functions.
What You’ll Bring
* PhD, MSc, or BSc in Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Biopharmaceutics, or a related life sciences discipline.
* Strong experience in PKPD data analysis within a pharma, biotech, or CRO environment.
* Strong understanding of drug pharmacology, toxicokinetics, and disease mechanisms.
* Proven proficiency with Phoenix WinNonlin; experience with tools such as Berkeley Madonna, NONMEM, or R is an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data to diverse audiences.
* Experience working in a matrix environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams
Why Join?
You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking R&D environment that values scientific excellence, innovation, and data-driven decision-making. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the development of next-generation therapies while expanding your expertise in a globally recognized, science-led organization.
