Legal Counsel (Junior)

My client is a B2B and B2C platform looking to appoint an enthusiastic, pragmatic Junior Legal Counsel to join a dynamic in‑house Legal team. Reporting to a Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll support a broad mix of commercial, operational, and regulatory matters within a fast‑paced tech environment.
This varied position offers hands‑on exposure to commercial contracts, procurement, data protection, intellectual property, disputes, and sector‑specific regulatory frameworks. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across multiple business functions, contributing to meaningful projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll do
* Draft and review high-volume commercial and SaaS agreements
* Support with data protection, compliance, and regulatory tasks
* Assist in internal projects, policy reviews, and process enhancements
* Provide clear, practical legal advice to non‑legal teams
* Conduct research into new laws, regulations, and emerging legal issues
What we’re looking for
* UK‑qualified lawyer, NQ–1 year PQE
* Prior in‑house experience (training seat, secondment, or paralegal role)
* Proven experience across commercial and SaaS agreements
* Strong drafting abilities and excellent attention to detail
* Commercial, solutions‑focused mindset with strong communication skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a high‑pressure environment
