Delivering furniture for IKEA alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role, creating a better everyday!

What will you be doing as a Class 2 Driver?
* Driving a Class 2 Vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation
* Working as a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homes
* Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
* Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
* Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured
* Always providing a first-class customer service experience
Relevant skills and experience as a Class 2 Driver:
* This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting - essential that you are physically able to lift items
* Valid Class 2 License
* Valid Digital Tachograph card
* Full Driver Qualification card (Driver CPC)
* A general understanding of driver's hours legislation and working time directive
* No more than 6 points on driving license
* Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
* Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines
* DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
