A Primary School in St Alban’s is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspiring Year 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team with immediate effect.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming school community at a pivotal stage in pupils’ learning. We are looking for a passionate practitioner who is committed to high standards and eager to make a real difference. The role would suit either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher with strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum who is ready to make an immediate impact.
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be on track to achieve it
Demonstrate secure knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, particularly in Year 2
Plan and deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons
Have high expectations for pupils’ achievement, progress and behaviour
Be reflective, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive staff team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
