Greensand Surgery have an opportunity for two medical reception/administration staff to join our friendly, busy team. We are looking for two enthusiastic members to join us for 27.5 hours each per week, to enable the hours 8.00am - 6.30pm to be covered, Monday to Friday.
The working patterns will be as follows:
Role 1:
* Monday: 13:00-18:30
* Tuesday: 8:00-13:30
* Thursday: 8:00-13:30
* Friday: 13:00-18:30
Role 2:
* Monday: 8:00-13:30
* Tuesday: 13:00-18:30
* Thursday: 13:00-18:30
* Friday: 8:00-13:30
Please state in your application which role(s) you are interested in. Some flexibility is needed as cover for holidays and sickness will be required. The postholders will be responsible for welcoming patients, call handling and booking appointments, providing general administrative assistance to the practice team and directing patients to the most appropriate service or healthcare professional in a friendly, positive and compassionate way.

Greensand Surgery is a semi-rural, GMS, practice in mid-Bedfordshire with just over 10,000 patients. We are a dynamic, hard-working team whose aim is to provide high quality patient centred care. The partnership is supportive and cohesive and we have a full complement of enthusiastic team members. We provide a comprehensive range of medical services for our patients as well as meeting targets for the new contract. The practice consists of three partners and four salaried GPs, a dedicated nursing team, clinical pharmacist, and admin staff.
