New Directions Education are one of the preferred suppliers to schools across South Wales and we are extremely busy and looking to increase their bank of Welsh Supply Teachers.
We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, flexible, and committed Welsh Teachers, to support secondary schools in the Vale of Glamorgan area.
The work available can be on long and short-term assignments, and you can manage your own diary/availability.

Job Specification
If you are a newly qualified teacher (NQT) or experienced Welsh teacher, we offer roles which include delivering the curriculum in Key Stage 3 (KS3) to Key Stage 4 (KS4) with a possible work at Key Stage 5 (KS5).
As an Information and Communication Technology teacher you’ll be expected to:
1. Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
2. Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
3. Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
4. Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
5. Maintain discipline
6. Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
7. Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
8. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
9. Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
10. Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
