We are seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef, to join our team at Cecconi's Bicester (OX26 6WD). Your duties will include recruiting and training new employees, adhering to allergy procedure and food preferences as well as working with the Executive and Head Chef on developing new menu options.
Working alongside the Head Chef, you will be the driving force behind the food offering making sure it is seasonal, relevant and appealing to our members and guests. You will have an in-depth health and safety knowledge ensuring that standards are kept in line with HACCP.
What we are looking for in a Junior Sous Chef...
* 1-2 years' experience in a busy high-profile kitchen in a similar senior role
* Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
* Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
* Sense of urgency
* Yes, yes, yes mentality
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
* Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required

Physical Requirements:
* Must be over the age of 18
* Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand
* Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
* Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
Expected working hours for a Junior Sous Chef:
* Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes
* Average hours 45-48 hours per week
