About The Role
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality breakfast dishes in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for breakfast cuisine, strong time management skills, and a commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook all breakfast menu items to company standards
* Ensure food is presented attractively and consistently
* Maintain a clean and organised workstation at all times
* Work efficiently to meet breakfast service times and customer expectations
* Monitor stock levels and communicate any shortages to the Head or Sous Chef
* Adhere to all food hygiene and health and safety regulations
* Assist with food preparation for other meals or events when required
* Support kitchen operations by following daily prep lists and cleaning schedules
* Ensure portion control and waste minimisation in line with kitchen policies
Requirements:
* Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Strong understanding of breakfast cookery and kitchen operations
* Food Hygiene Level 2 (minimum) – or willingness to obtain
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A passion for delivering excellent food and guest experience
