Position: HR Assistant
Location: Scottish Borders
Salary: Up to £26k
Work Arrangement: 1 day in the office, remaining days at home

Role Responsibilities:
* Be the first point of contact for HR queries via face-to-face, email, and telephone.
* Provide timely and accurate advice to support managers with people-related concerns and opportunities.
* Manage casework related to employee relations, such as flexible working requests and investigations.
* Handle sickness absence cases and related administration.
* Assist with the onboarding and exit processes.
* Analyze HR processes, suggest, and implement improvements.
* Support internal and external audits.
* Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports.
* Assist the HR Advisor/HR Business Partner with ad hoc duties.
* Maintain all data in SAP, handle filing, letter writing, and other administrative tasks.
* Perform any other duties as required.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience in an HR role.
* Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* IT proficiency, ideally with SAP and HR systems understanding.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent multitasking abilities.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Capacity to manage change.
