Paralegal – Group Legal
Lotus Cars is seeking a Paralegal to support the Head of Legal & Compliance, other Legal Counsels and the DPO across a range of corporate and commercial matters. The role is based in Coventry, UK, and will be an integral part of the European legal team.
Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Legal & Compliance across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
* Review and draft commercial agreements, including NDAs, supplier agreements and intercompany arrangements.
* Assist with the preparation of legal documentation and internal reports.
* Handle day‑to‑day legal queries from the business.
* Take minutes of internal meetings and track follow‑up actions.
* Monitor and manage registered mail for various legal entities, ensuring timely escalation.
* Provide general administrative support to the legal function.
* Support company secretarial activities for UK and European legal entities.
* Support data protection and privacy law related activities (prior knowledge desirable).
Essential Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant reviewing/advising on commercial contracts.
* Law Degree.
* Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex matters clearly.
* Results‑driven with experience leading strategic projects efficiently.
* Intercultural awareness and innovative mindset.
* Confidence to handle and elevate urgent issues.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications
* LPC Graduate.
* Proficiency in European languages.
