An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Website Manager/ Website Content Manager to join this iconic retail brand, in a stable and growing market.
The role will see you take ownership of the day-to-day management and optimization of the brand websites, ensuring content is accurate, current, and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Working cross channel (Brand, PR, Digital & Product) and with in-house content producers, you will be responsible for managing, updating, maintaining, and refreshing content, including copy, videos, and other assets, across websites and app - optimizing for SEO.
* Collaborate with relevant teams to manage the scheduling and publishing of all digital promotional calendars, ensuring alignment with campaigns and seasonal priorities and product development.
* You will work closely with the wider SEO team and SEO content producers, managing the content schedule, managing commercial pages and formatting content and publishing according to the content plan and delivery timeline.
* Briefing in requirements, creating specification briefs for the product owners and developers to enable timely roll out of content.
* Work closely with the CRO team contributing to the overall strategy and content. You will be responsible for all pre launch validation, QA testing, staging environment testing and cross-browser testing, are accurate.
* Utilising the in house analytics and user behaviour teams/ platforms, you will draw insights from performance data and translate them into clear optimization actions to enhance content.
Key Skills & Experience I’m looking for:
* Experienced Website Manager/ Web Content Manager working on a large content-heavy website in a trading or highly commercial environment.
* Logical and analytical, with an ability to spot patterns, gaps and repetitions in web content.
* Proven experience managing website content, ideally across multiple sites.
* Familiarity with CMS platforms
* Experienced at cropping, resizing and reformatting static imagery using Photoshop to be web ready.
* Experienced in handling video content for websites, including working with creative or production teams and YouTube.
* Understanding of CRO testing tools (e.g. Google Optimize, Optimizely, VWO, or similar).
* Working knowledge of SEO and experience implementing content updates to improve rankings.
