We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head Vet Surgeon to join a fantastic first opinion small animal veterinary practice in the Stoke on Trent area of Staffordshire.
* full time hours includes 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, NO Sundays and NO OOH
* practice is spacious with super facilities and a range of state-of-the-art equipment; digital x-ray, ultrasound, BP measurement, in-house laboratory facilities etc.
* this role would suit either an existing Head Vet looking for change or a Senior / experienced Vet looking to step up.
* role requires good experience in practice and competence in both medicine and surgical procedures
* role requires you to ensure clinical standards are maintained and to guide and mentor the more junior vets in the team.
* join a fantastic team of 3 Vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN and 2 Receptionists
* practice supports CPD and Certificates and all specialisms are welcomed and highly encouraged
* Well located in City of Stoke on Trent area in Central England with good local transport options with motorway network nearby providing quick and easy links to stunning countryside and other cities.
Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* Head Vet looking for change or Senior or very experienced Vet looking to step up
