My client is seeking a Finance Accountant to oversee their finance and accounting function. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to advance your career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Role:
1. Manage all aspects of the finance and accounting function for our client's group of companies.
2. Oversee the Group's bank accounts, including daily financial reporting, cash flow analysis, and supplier payment processes.
3. Supervise the use of Sage and ancillary records, ensuring accurate accounting entries and adherence to Group policy.
4. Handle sales and purchase ledger management, liaising with external accountants and bookkeepers.
5. Complete and submit all required returns and other statutory bodies, including VAT.
6. Maintain employer records for staff.
7. General office management and administration.
Requirements:
1. Strong educational background to degree or A level standard.
2. Excellent competency in Sage 50 accounting software, sales and purchase ledger administration, bank reconciliations, and VAT administration.
3. Proficiency in Excel and other IT skills.
4. Previous experience in the building and construction industry is desirable.
