Site Security Manager
Location: Glasgow
Pay: £39,639.60 Annually
Hours: 45 hours per week — Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 – flexibility required. While primarily weekday-based, occasional night shifts and weekend site visits may be required.

Responsibilities
Leadership & People Development
* Lead, motivate, and develop your on‑site team to deliver outstanding security service.
* Recruit, train, and retain high‑performing officers who reflect Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Helpfulness, and Vigilance.
* Conduct regular coaching sessions, appraisals, and performance reviews to encourage growth and accountability.
* Recognise and reward staff achievements, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
* Manage rotas effectively to ensure full coverage during holidays, absences, and peak periods.
Operational Excellence
* Act as the main point of contact for all site security matters, resolving issues efficiently and escalating where appropriate.
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring all activities meet contractual and service‑level expectations.
* Maintain up‑to‑date assignment instructions, risk assessments, and operational documentation.
* Analyse security data and incident trends to identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure all incidents are reported accurately and promptly in line with company and client procedures.
Health, Safety & Environment
* Place safety, health, and environmental responsibility at the forefront of all site activities.
* Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
* Ensure full compliance with Securitas SHE standards, including training and reporting requirements.
* Respond promptly to incidents, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement measures.
Client Engagement & Business Support
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients through consistent communication and service excellence.
* Understand client priorities and align site operations with their security strategy.
* Support the branch manager in controlling costs and improving efficiency.
* Represent Securitas professionally at all times, ensuring the company’s values are reflected in every interaction.
* Prepare and deliver operational reports to the Branch Operations Manager.
Qualifications
* A valid SIA licence.
* Management experience of 2 years or more.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
* The right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history.
* Strong communication skills in English – both written and spoken.
