Post: Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31/8/26
Salary Range: Grade 4, SCP10 – SCP12 £27,694.00 - £28,598.00 FTE, (actual pro rata salary £23,145.07 - £23,900.59)

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment

Working Type: Full Time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year (45.942 paid weeks)

Base: Dyke House Academy, Mapleton Road, Hartlepool, TS24 8NQ

Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Dyke House Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with small groups and individual students across Key Stage 3 and 4. Successful candidates will promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with special needs under the direction of a class teacher, SENDCO and Inclusion Coordinator.
