We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Dispensary Manager to join our team within our non-customer facing pharmacy in Glasgow.
This role is central to keeping our busy online dispensary running smoothly. You'll manage workflow, stock, processes and team coordination, ensuring everything operates in line with clinical governance and company standards. The Role
* Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the dispensary
* Manage workflow and prioritise orders to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and on time
* Lead and support the dispensary and customer service teams
* Maintain and improve stock management and ordering processes
* Ensure compliance with clinical governance, SOPs and company standards
* Work closely with prescribers, pharmacists, ACTs, dispensers, customer service and support staff
* Liaise with suppliers and courier partners to ensure smooth service
* Use technology and data to monitor performance, resolve issues and streamline operations
* Drive a culture of compliance, quality and continuous improvement
Essential Skills and Requirements
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
* Comfortable using technology, data systems and digital tools
* Able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment and use initiative
* Experience in stock management, logistics, customer service or healthcare operations desirable
* Ability to work to strict deadlines and maintain high attention to detail
* A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn
The Details
* Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Hourly rate: £16-18 depending on experience
* Location: In person, Glasgow
