Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
* Managing the commercial aspects of various civils and groundwork projects involving but not limited to earthworks, sewer installation, roads and hard landscaped finishes for developers, house builders and local authorities
* Manage month end applications, invoicing & valuations within agreed timescales
* Identify variations communicate to clients and obtain cost approval
* Manage client contractual requirements within contract documents
* Produce P&L reports for all projects
* Manage sub-contractors
* Attending site for internal/external meetings including site measures
* Working on projects ranging in value from £20k to £20m
Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
* Preferred Quantity Surveying experience within the groundworks market sector, Not Mandatory
* Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent
* Confident relationship builder
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
* Good financial and numerical skills
* High levels of attention to detail
* Ability to multi-task and work accurately under pressure
* Familiar with cost reporting & valuations
* Full UK driving license
