About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and capable Fleet Sales Manager, with extensive automotive industry experience and great connections to lead the launch of the Changan brand into the UK fleet markets.
This role requires a hands-on approach as we scale the business from the ground up. As the Fleet Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to use your connections, planning, influencing and leadership skills to shape the face of Changan fleet in the UK. Building a fleet team and developing great customer relationships, to deliver growth through the introduction of an innovative product line-up that combines European design excellence with cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop relationships with leasing companies, fleets and key influencers in the fleet market to raise awareness of Changan and introduce our products.
* Recruit and manage a fleet sales team to deliver outstanding sales performance.
* Negotiate fleet terms and deliver sales performance across the Changan model portfolio in line with planned fleet volumes.
* Represent Changan to relevant industry bodies and manage the residual value performance of Changan products.
* Develop and implement a certified Used Vehicle program to manage vehicle returns
* Work with Dealers to develop local fleet programs and efficiently meet the sales and aftersales requirements of fleet and leasing customers.
* Support the product marketing team in analysing the market and predicting trends in product / powertrain, as well as transaction pricing.
* Work with the sales operations team to effectively plan the production and stock pipeline to support fleet sales and deliver the sales objectives.
* Work with cross-functional teams in UK, Europe and China, including marketing, product management and finance, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree or equivalent.
* several years experience in a fleet sales environment.
* Proven track record of managing fleet Sales.
* Demonstrated understanding of the UK fleet markets and great connections across the market.
* Strong understanding of automotive industry trends, finance products, fleet markets and analytical tools.
* Great communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
