Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reception Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional three‑form entry primary school in the M24 area. This full‑time position begins after the Easter break and will continue until July 2026, offering a fantastic opportunity to support young learners in an Outstanding Early Years environment.
The school is known for its high standards, strong leadership and nurturing ethos, with Ofsted praising its exceptional teaching and supportive culture. As part of the Reception team, you will work closely with class teachers and fellow support staff to create a warm, engaging and inclusive learning atmosphere for children at the very start of their educational journey.
The role involves supporting the delivery of EYFS‑aligned learning, assisting with small‑group activities, contributing to observations and assessments, and helping to maintain a stimulating classroom environment. You will also play an important part in supporting children’s social, emotional and developmental needs throughout the school day.
A Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential, along with a genuine passion for supporting young children and helping them to thrive. Previous experience within an EYFS setting would be highly beneficial.
