Responsibilities
* Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
* Develop, implement, and review EHCPs and individual support plans
* Monitor student progress and evaluate the impact of interventions
* Support staff with behaviour strategies and inclusive teaching practices
* Work closely with senior leadership to drive SEND strategy and improvement
* Liaise with parents, carers, local authorities, and external agencies
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, SEND Code of Practice, and Ofsted standards
* Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to staff
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent qualification
* NASENCO or NPQ in SEND (essential or working towards)
* Proven experience within SEN and/or Alternative Provision settings
* Strong understanding of SEMH, autism, ADHD, and behavioural needs
* Experience managing challenging behaviour and reengagement strategies
* In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, inclusion, and SEND legislation
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
