Salary: £23,817 - £26,183 (Pro rata salary £13,194 - £14,505). Incremental progression throughout the band is available.

About the Role
We require a highly motivated individual to provide in-class support to students with a variety of needs, including support with difficulties/disabilities, literacy, numeracy, and language. You will also provide emotional support and encourage participation in the learning environment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students studying a diverse range of subjects and may be required to work across the college’s different centres within the SCC group. You will work alongside classroom tutors to break down barriers and ensure that learners can access the curriculum and reach their full potential. You should have an understanding of the issues facing young people with barriers to their learning. Previous experience in support and a good standard of English, Maths, and IT are required.
