Mill Studios houses cutting‑edge spaces including a TV Studio, Games Design Studio and Esports Suite, providing students with industry-standard learning in the heart of Halifax’s thriving creative industries community. About the Role
As Head of Faculty, you will provide inspirational leadership and strategic direction across a vibrant portfolio of creative and enterprise‑focused programmes. You will empower staff to deliver outstanding, industry‑relevant teaching and learning, ensuring students develop the skills, confidence and creativity needed to succeed in employment or higher education.
You will:
* Lead and inspire high‑performing teams to deliver exceptional quality and learner experience.
* Shape a forward‑thinking curriculum that reflects industry trends, digital innovation and enterprise.
* Build strong employer, university and community partnerships to enhance progression opportunities.
* Oversee quality assurance, performance and resources to achieve ambitious academic and financial targets.
* Champion creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement across the faculty.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader who can combine strategic vision with operational excellence. You will have:
* A successful track record of leadership in creative, digital or business‑related curriculum areas.
* Experience of developing innovative, industry‑aligned provision that inspires students and staff.
* Strong people management, communication and analytical skills.
* A commitment to inclusion, diversity, and the student experience.
