About The Role
As an In‑House Sales Support, you’ll play a key role in assisting our Industrial Sales Account Managers and ensuring a smooth, efficient experience for our customers. You’ll handle day‑to‑day sales administration, queries and requests from customers and account managers, and will liaise and communicate between other internal departments. With strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset, you’ll help deliver exceptional service and operational excellence, contributing to customer satisfaction and the continued success of our business.
Responsibilities
* Support Account Managers with their customer portfolios, including price updates, contract creation and tracking, balance monitoring, and forecasting using the Global Forecasting System.
* Set up and maintain customer accounts, including new account creation, delivery site setup, and regular updates to customer master data.
* Actively manage contracts, ensuring alignment with forecasts, monitoring balances, and overseeing snowball management to maintain accuracy and compliance.
* Prepare and issue customer pricing and quotations through the Sales Cockpit system, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
* Assist with financial queries, including overdue invoices, and manage credit and debit note requests in collaboration with relevant teams.
* Coordinate sample requests, liaising with internal departments to ensure efficient processing and delivery.
* Log, track, and manage customer complaints, ensuring timely follow‑up and resolution in line with company procedures.
* Manage a small portfolio of customers independently, handling all aspects from price negotiation and contract entry to being the primary point of contact for queries and support.
About You
* 2‑3 years of experience in a customer facing role.
* Available to work for a 1‑year fixed term contract period.
* Strong understanding of sales processes, tools, and procedures, with the ability to support an organization’s sales plan effectively.
* Confident in using a variety of communication practices and techniques to engage with customers professionally.
* Knowledge of customer support functions, enabling effective management of inquiries and timely resolution of issues.
* Ability to provide specialized support to customers as required.
* Comfortable using IT systems; experience with SAP and strong Excel skills are advantageous.
* Highly organized, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workload efficiently.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Capable of contributing effectively to both the customer support function and the wider sales team.
