We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, all types of welding and sheet metal work. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various hand and power tools to produce high-quality components that meet our specifications.
Responsibilities
* Perform TIG and MIG welding and other welding techniques to fabricate metal components.
* Work from drawings and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
* Conduct fabrication of metal parts, ensuring precision in measurements and cuts.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Carry out routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in welding is essential.
* Familiarity with local welding standards and practices is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
* Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
* Experience in assembly processes is advantageous.
