Role Description:
We're seeking an
experienced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Marketing Manager
to join the Brand Team at
Venture Life Group (VLG)
. This role reports to the
Director of Brands
and is an
independent contributor role (no direct reports)
. You will lead the development and execution of
targeted marketing strategies
to engage healthcare professionals, including midwives, GPs, nurses, urologists, pharmacists, and IVF clinics, driving their recommendation of Venture Life's health brands.
You'll ensure each brand's messaging highlights clinical value and aligns with professional guidelines (e.g. first-line NICE recommendations or NHS initiatives).

Key Responsibilities:
* Campaign Planning & Execution:
Lead end-to-end HCP marketing campaigns, tailoring messaging for midwives, GPs, nurses, urologists, pharmacists, IVF clinics, and more.
* Sampling & Education:
Design and deliver HCP sampling programs and educational initiatives (e.g. Balance Activ clinic sampling, Lift training sessions).
* Pharmacy First Collaboration:
Work with experts (NICE scheme consultants, etc.) to ensure Venture Life products are integrated into NHS Pharmacy First and related care pathways.
* Content Development:
Create HCP-facing brochures, slide decks, digital content, and communications.
* Events & Exhibitions:
Manage VLG's presence at HCP conferences (GP, pharmacy, midwifery, urology, fertility), including booth planning, presentations, and sponsorships.
* Multi-Channel Engagement:
Drive engagement through journals, events, email campaigns, webinars, and social media — ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Performance Tracking:
Define KPIs, track HCP engagement, sample uptake, and feedback; report on insights, ROI, and recommendations.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Align with commercial, digital marketing, and product teams to ensure HCP messaging fits the wider brand strategy.
Qualifications
* Healthcare Marketing Experience:
Proven background in OTC healthcare, pharma marketing, medical communications, or relevant HCP experience (e.g. nurse, pharmacist, allied health professional).
* UK Healthcare Knowledge:
Deep understanding of NHS structure, referral pathways, and specialties. Familiarity with initiatives such as
NHS Pharmacy First (2024)
is highly desirable.
* Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to clearly convey clinical/scientific information and build relationships with diverse HCPs.
* Self-Starter & Organiser:
Able to independently plan, manage, and execute projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
* Passion & Domain Expertise:
Genuine interest in health and wellness. Prior experience in
women's health, men's health, or pharmacy settings
is a strong asset.
