The Accountant is expected to work 25-30 hours a week and will receive a salary of up to £35,000 (FTE) along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working and a free lunch!

Primary responsibilities;
* Financial Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting
* Billing - invoicing parents and chasing debtors
* Banking - making payments, bank reconciliations, dealing with direct debits
* Daily cash management
* Management Accounting - reporting against budget, balance sheet reconciliations
* Cashflow forecasting
* Ad hoc accountancy tasks supporting the Bursar
* Procurement
Key experience and attributes;
* Financial Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting skills
* Experience in accounting software and financial systems
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial best practices
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Experience in the education sector is a plus
