Senior Town Planner
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Town Planner to join our growing team in Newcastle.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects across multiple sectors
* Preparing and submitting planning applications and supporting documents
* Providing strategic planning advice to clients
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Liaising with local authorities, consultants and stakeholders
Requirements
* Chartered status (MRTPI) is essential
* Previous experience within a planning consultancy or relevant planning environment
* Strong working knowledge of the UK planning system
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
* Commercial awareness and strong client‑facing skills
