Job Description
* JOB – Senior Project Manager
* LOCATION – Liverpool (hybrid working is available)
* TERM – Permanent
* SALARY – £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience)
My client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke products, primarily working within the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in the Liverpool area on a permanent basis.
* 5 or more years of Project Management experience to Senior or near Senior level
* Ideally experienced working with a small team to implement new Project Management processes
* Experience delivering turnkey projects
* Hold PRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualifications
* An educational or hands‑on background in Engineering
* A background in the Medical sector would also be beneficial
* Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge
* Be able to read engineering drawings
* Strong client‑facing experience
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Be flexible to travel as required
Responsibilities
* Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid to manufacture and delivery
* Organising projects, implementing a new Project Management process and motivating the existing team to work to new structures and procedures
* Successfully delivering projects on time and on budget
* Producing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans
* Liaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progress
* Working with design, purchasing and production departments
* Presenting project plans and reports to management
* Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues
* Maintaining technical documentation as required
* Mentoring junior members of the team
* Occasional travel as required
