Salary: £170 - £210 per day (Experience Depending)
Contract: 2 days per week (part-time)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SENDCo with a strong commitment to Nurture Education to join our inclusive school in Knowsley, Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner looking for a part-time (2 days per week) role within a supportive, values-led school. You will lead SEND provision with a strong focus on nurture, inclusion, and trauma‑informed practice, supporting pupils with SEND, particularly those with SEMH and additional needs, to thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Fulfil the statutory duties of the SENCO role in line with the SEND Code of Practice
* Lead and manage SEND provision with a nurture‑based approach
* Embed nurture principles and trauma‑informed practice across the school
* Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies
* Oversee EHCP processes, annual reviews, and provision planning
* Support and develop staff through training and guidance
* Monitor and evaluate the impact of SEND interventions
We Are Looking for Someone Who
* Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (or is willing to work towards it)
* Has strong experience of SEND, particularly SEMH, attachment, and trauma
* Is committed to inclusive, child‑centred practice
* Has excellent communication and organisational skills
