A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Project Manager. Please note this is a FTC for around 9 months.
Key Responsibilities
* Write effective and compelling project briefs and brief internal teams.
* Develop timelines, project proposals and run projects.
* Create concise and well‑presented proposals.
* Ensure schedules are adhered to and project documentation is complete.
* Maintain close management of all aspects of projects and escalated issues as needed.
* Work with team to plan wider resources effectively.
* Demonstrate understanding of services and sell these effectively.
* Deliver onsite management ensuring projects reflect briefs and meet objectives.
* Support pitches, collaborating with other disciplines and partners to create agency proposals underpinned by rigorous delivery plan, budget and schedule.
* Liaise with in‑house legal team and client as needed.
* Work with internal HSSE Lead to ensure production of core events meets HSSE standards and guidelines.
* Adhere to Imagination and ISO processes.
* Ensure projects over £50K fees are issued with an Imagination Client Survey.
* Travel internationally a number of times a year for extended periods.
* Demonstrate financial responsibility through proposal costing, budget development and timely reconciliation.
* Hone commercial skills such as revenue maximisation and cost management.
* Assess project spend to maximise value and ROI for clients.
* Understand clients, competitors, market, suppliers, products and strategy.
* Delegate, manage and oversee team.
* Mentor and develop junior team members.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Solid experience delivering projects within events, exhibitions or brand experience in an agency environment.
* Good interpersonal, presentation, relationship building and negotiation skills.
* Hands‑on, proactive project management, anticipating needs and challenges.
* Skilled at identifying potential issues before they arise and developing contingency plans.
* Adept at building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring smooth collaboration.
* Experience managing mid‑to‑large scale budgets.
* People management experience.
* Capable of devising and implementing revenue‑generating ideas.
