Location: Southampton and Portsmouth Hours: 40 hours per week – 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
What will you be responsible for? As a Handyperson, youll be working within the Southampton Schools FM team, supporting them in delivering a customer-focused, cost-effective and efficient maintenance service across the site.
Your day-to-day will include: Carrying out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and minor repair/improvement works including painting, decorating, carpentry, lock changes, and general repairs Proactively reporting faults to equipment, buildings, and fittings Maintaining cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas Working safely and in accordance with Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices, and Method Statements Completing all job packs/reports accurately and on time What are we looking for?
