Work within our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). You will be required to monitor various types of alarms, including but not limited to: Intruder Alarms, Panic Alarms, Fire Alarm and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Systems.
Responsibilities
* Answering incoming telephone calls from clients, engineers and security companies and deal with their requests, Use of computers and telephone systems to provide responses to signals from remote systems and dispatch to the emergency services.
* Handling and management of high priority/life or non-life activations.
* Operate within a strict set of procedures using specially designed computer software.
* Updating and reporting on clients recorded information.
* Assisting with general Administration tasks when required.
* Watch several CCTV screens simultaneously, whilst being able to use your judgements to determine the seriousness of the situation.
Skills and Qualifications
* A professional telephone listening skills.
* Ability to take control of sensitive situation when necessary.
* Ability to multi task and problem solve.
* Excellent listening skills and ability to offer clients assurance and clarity.
* Worked within a contact centre environment or in a role where you are required to use the telephone frequently.
* Full in house training, mentoring and ongoing support will be given.
* SIA CCTV Operator licence is highly desirable.
Further Information
Salary: £22,850 per annum.
