We are currently partnering with a leading manufacturer based in Coventry, who are recruiting for a Finance Accounting Specialist to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time position offering 3 days per week home working and a salary band of £35,000 - £45,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.
The ideal candidate will be qualified or p/q CIMA/ACA/ACCA and have at least 5 years’ experience in a relevant position.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Supporting the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting results to local management
* Managing data from multiple core applications, balance sheet management and systems management
* Supporting AP/P2P function including AP invoices processing
* Aiding with intercompany and related party reporting, ensuring full monthly reconciliation and confirmation of all intercompany and related party balances
* Supporting the AR function on the key customer accounts allocation and reconciliation
* Liaising with the Treasury Department regarding intercompany loans and derivatives reporting
* Preparing ad-hoc financial reporting and MI
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage large volumes of data
* Ability to adapt and adjust to different audiences
* Experience with Business Objects is desirable
