Job Duties:
1. Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
2. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
3. Manage classroom behaviour effectively
4. Provide feedback to regular teachers on students' progress
5. Adhere to school policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
6. DBS on Update Service
7. Previous experience in a teaching or cover teacher role
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments
Education:
10. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
11. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience:
12. Experience working with children and young people
13. Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver lesson plans
Knowledge and Skills:
14. Understanding of the national curriculum
15. Ability to engage and motivate students
16. Strong classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
17. Further postgraduate qualifications in Education
18. Specialist subject knowledge
Working Conditions:
19. Work primarily during school hours
20. May require flexibility in terms of location and subjects taught
21. Collaborate with school staff and parents
