This is a brand-new supported living service in Sandwich and we have high expectations for our staff. You will receive all the necessary training prior to supporting the person, and this training will take place locally.
Shift patterns
This is a bank contract; if you lead a busy life and want to pick up a few shifts here and there, this would be ideal for you. We have a wide range of shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends. Please note that the shifts may vary.
Role responsibilities
* We require support workers to be patient, understanding and confident in their approach.
* Support workers need to be mindful of the language used when communicating; honesty, boundaries and consistency are essential.
* Support me to live a fulfilling life.
* You will work alongside specialists in multi-disciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and more.
In this role, you may be employed to work with one person, but there may be occasions when you are required to support others who need assistance. You will receive training to confidently and competently provide support in these situations, contributing to the well-being of all individuals in the location.
This flexible approach helps us maintain a collaborative, team-focused, person-centred environment while ensuring everyone receives the care and attention they deserve.
