Job Description
What will you be doing ?
We are looking for an Operations Executive to join our Transfers and ISA team in Glasgow on a 8 month FTC contract. In your role, you will perform the daily duties, checking and general processing of all transfer functions, in a timely basis, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Also to perform the daily duties, checking and general processing of all ISA subscription requests and other related tasks.
As Operations Executive - Transfers In & ISA, your responsibilities will include among others
* Ensuring all client transfers In are dealt with promptly and accurately, including liaising with external third parties,
* Responding to queries from front office teams such as Investment Management & Client Services in a timely manner.
* Ensuring all incoming queries are monitored and responded to daily.
* Identifying any weaknesses in internal controls and recommend potential improvements.
* Assisting in the collation of MI relating to Transfers In functions, highlighting issues to the team manager upon exposure.
* Participating in, and contribute to, any ad-hoc project-related work where necessary.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have
* Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in Operations is advantageous but not essential.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
* Excellent Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
* Ability to work well in a team but concurrently comfortable to work individually.
* Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner.
