Love getting stuck in? Enjoy hands-on work, fast-paced environments, and the satisfaction of helping create seriously good beer? We’re looking for a Brewing Assistant to join the team and help keep the brewery running smoothly behind the scenes.
No two days are quite the same - one minute you’ll be supporting brew production, the next you’ll be cleaning tanks, handling raw ingredients, monitoring fermentation, or jumping in to support packaging and the wider production team during busy periods.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Brewing Assistant, you’ll support the brewing team in the day-to-day running of our brewery. No two days are exactly the same, but responsibilities will include:
Assisting with production operations
Cleaning and sanitising brewing vessels, tanks, and equipment (lots of CIP!)
Supporting fermentation monitoring and cellar operations
Raw material handling, including grain, hops, and adjuncts
Quality checks and accurate record keeping
General housekeeping and maintaining brewery cleanliness standards
Supporting stock movements tasks where needed
Following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone reliable, hardworking, and genuinely excited about brewing.
Ideally, you’ll have:
A passion for beer / brewing / production environments
Previous brewery, manufacturing, food production, or similar hands-on experience (ideal but not essential)
Strong attention to detail
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
This is an active, manual role with lifting involved
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and willingness to muck in wherever needed
