Architectural Technician
Location: Windsor
Salary: £30-37,000
A well-established architectural practice in Windsor is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its expanding team. The practice is recognised for its strong design ethos and technical expertise, delivering projects across a broad range of sectors including residential, education, heritage and conservation, community, and leisure.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documentation
Assist with planning applications and building regulation submissions
Coordinate technical information with consultants and contractors
Ensure designs comply with UK building regulations and relevant standards
Produce accurate working drawings using CAD and BIM software
Attend site visits and meetings as required
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience within a UK architectural practice
Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail
Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and BIM workflows is advantageous
Good working knowledge of current UK building regulations
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
