Practicus is supporting a reputed housing association with the search for a Finance Data Performance Manager. The role sits in the finance function but works closely with IT, driving better data usage, reducing reliance on spreadsheets, and enabling more effective decision-making across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Lead the transition from legacy finance systems to Workday and expand Power BI usage across the finance team
* Own and deliver finance data reporting and controls, bridging the gap between finance and IT
* Partner with finance directors and senior leaders to align priorities and build a unified data approach
* Manage a virtual team of Power BI champions, guiding best practice and embedding governance
Qualifications
* Strong finance background, Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent Post Graduate accounting qualification)
* Expertise in Power BI, DAX and SQL
* Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
* Experience working with IT teams on data architecture and governance
* Self-starter with strong organisational skills and collaborative approach
