You will get the opportunity to run projects on site up to a maximum value of £3 million. You will manage dynamic teams, working alongside some highly experienced and qualified engineers. The main duties and requirements of these roles include:
* Planning and managing works on site.
* Providing continual project updates to your Project Manager.
* Completing daily site diaries.
* Taking photographic evidence and recording site activities on Site Audit Pro.
* Reading, understanding and implementing the mechanical and electrical design.
* Ensuring the quality of work on site by continual monitoring.
* Managing site labour and sub-contractors.
* Ensuring sufficient materials are on site to enable works to progress.
* Ensuring hire equipment is on site and off-hiring it in a timely manner.
* Ensuring works are being carried out in line with programme of works.
* Liaising with the Project Manager regarding planned dates for commissioning and testing.
* Completing a good standard of as‑fitted information.
* Carrying out toolbox talks and site inductions, where required.
* Managing health and safety on site to a high standard.
They are currently looking for both M&E Foremen and Supervisors who have served an apprenticeship in either a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
Applicants will ideally have at least 5 years on site supervisory experience, managing projects with a minimum value of £200K in a variety of commercial settings, including banking, transport, industry and leisure. However, suitable candidates with relevant mechanical or electrical experience and qualifications, without previous time spent in a supervisory role, may be considered for these positions.
