Sales Manager – Automation / Controls – Home Based / UK - £65k + commission – OTE £100k
Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join a specialist automation company.
The successful Sales Manager will be home based but will need to live somewhere in between Leeds/West Yorkshire and the M25. Most of the customers are located in between, so it wouldn’t work if you live in Cornwall or Glasgow for example!
Key aspects of the Sales Manager role include –
* Identify and win new business, as well as grow revenue from existing customers
* Role requires experience of selling controls and automated related equipment and solutions
* Successful Sales Manager will be polished, credible, confident, self-motivated, autonomous and have first class communication skills
* Strong negotiation and deal closing ability is critical
* Knowledge of the automated warehouse and/or logistics supply chain would be advantageous
* An understanding of a technical discipline is key – a background in automation, system integration, material handing systems or logistics equipment and software
* Successful Sales Manager will have a proven track record of sales success in a KPI driven environment
* You’ll need to be commercially astute and have the drive and energy to succeed combined with a passion for sales and top performance
* The Sales Manager role will involve all sales activities including regular client meetings, solution development, quote building and closing deals
* All applicants must have a full UK Driving Licence and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship
